What is the LPG Cylinder Charge?

It is a fixed charge for use of an LPG cylinder. It is non refundable and covers your use of a cylinder, regardless of length of use and is payable in addition to the cost of the gas. 

The cylinder remains the property of Energas and is provided solely for the purposes of supplying the gas to you.

Are there different charges for different size cylinders?

No, it is a one-off charge for any size cylinder. If you return the cylinder and request a refill, you will only be charged for the gas in the new cylinder. 

How much is the charge?

£37.50 (excluding VAT) per cylinder. 

Returning cylinders

If you require your cylinder to be refilled, return it to us and we will refill the cylinder. There will be no further cylinder charge, and you only pay for the gas.

For example, if you return one empty cylinder and request a refill, there will be no cylinder charge. 

If you return one empty cylinder and request two full cylinders, you would be charged for the one additional cylinder. 

NOTE that the cylinder must be returned in a safe, usable and serviceable condition in order to be refilled, (general wear and tear excepted).. We will not refill any cylinder that is not safe and usable and any further cylinder requested will carry a cylinder charge.
