Nitrogen

This is the gas most commonly used for purging and to pressure test systems prior to moving to next step of refrigerant charge. It can also be used as part of the servicing protocol following refrigerant recovery.
Modes of Supply for Nitrogen:
- Single cylinders in a range of sizes and pressures (200 and 300 bar) are available:
- 10L
- 20L
- 47L
- 50L
- Cylinder packs for higher volume users :
- 14 x 47L cylinders @ 200 bar
- 16 x 50L cylinders @ 230 bar
- 16 x 50L cylinders @ 300 bar
- For Pure Nitrogen High Pressure Skid tanks are available (3000 litre capacity) and can be combined with cylinders or cylinder packs to provide On site mixing also over and above pure gases needs
- Standard Bulk Tanks of 10,000 litres and above available
5% H2 in N2 for Leak Testing

This mixture is very commonly used, is non-flammable, non-toxic, safe for the environment and is compatible with a standard Nitrogen regulator. When appropriate leak detection equipment is used it is capable of identifying much smaller leaks than OFN and or a leak detection spray:
- As Hydrogen is a very small molecule it can move very quickly through the refrigeration system and rapidly locate leaks
- This mixture is up to 100 times more sensitive than a leak detection spray and can detect very small leaks of less than 5 grams per year
- Improves accessibility as can enable testing of all system areas even insulated or difficult to access pipe work where leak detection sprays cannot easily be used
- Quicker tests, reduces time on site giving greater productivity l Reduction in cost by avoiding retest and or rework.
Modes of Supply for Leak Testing Gases (5% Hydrogen in Nitrogen, 10% Hydrogen in Nitrogen):
- Single cylinders in a range of sizes and pressures at 200 bar are available:
- 10L
- 47L
Pure Helium and Nitrogen/Helium Mixtures

Gas mixtures containing Helium allow for more sensitive and accurate leak detection than a simple pressure test and can provide the following benefits:
- Safe and easy to use as this mixture is inert and non-flammable.
- It is also readily compatible with all standard pressure testing equipment, including Nitrogen regulators
- Enhanced detection rates, as this mixture can detect far smaller leaks due to the size of the test gas molecules.
- Helium molecules are far smaller than Nitrogen molecules and can more easily detect small leaks in a refrigeration system
- Cost effective as this leak detection gas will reduce the quantity and the cost of call-outs.
Modes of Supply for Helium and Helium Mixtures:
- Single cylinders in a range of sizes and pressures (200 and 300 bar) are available depending on pure helium or mixture selected:
- 10L
- 20L
- 47L
- 50L
- Cylinder packs for higher volume users :
- 16 x 50 litre cylinders @ 230 bar
- 16 x 50 litre cylinders @ 300 bar
- For Pure Helium small scale bulk tanks and dewars are available
- Standard Bulk Tanks of 10,000 litres and above available
Brazing

Gases for brazing are often required for HVAC R systems to enable the HVAC R technician to join pieces of pipework together. Commonly used gases are Oxygen and Acetylene and sometimes Propane can be used for the brazing of certain materials.
Modes of Supply for Brazing Gases (Oxygen, Acetylene and Propane):
- Oxygen:
Single cylinders in a range of sizes and 200 bar pressure are available:- 10L
- 20L
- 47L
- Acetylene:
Single cylinders in a range of sizes and product weights are available:- 10 litre - 1.7kg
- 50 litre - 9.4kg
- 58 litre - 9.4kg
- Propane:
Single cylinders in a range of sizes and product weights are available:- 3.9kg
- 6kg
- 11kg
- 12.7kg
- 19kg
- 47kg
Pipefreezing

Jetfreezer™ offers a fast simple method of freezing metal and water based systems pipework up to 100 mm in diameter by injecting CO2 into a specially designed pipe jacket. Allowing you to safely and easily carry out work on pipework/plumbing systems without the need to drain the system. Once the pipework is frozen, the long working time of 45 minutes can easily be extended by adding more CO2.
JetfreezerTM (Carbon Dioxide) cylinders:
- Single cylinders in a range of sizes and product weights are available:
- 6.35kg
- 9kg
